Once completed, the project will group around 800 stations. "We chose Topkapi because, in addition to extensive experience, it certainly is the most open product in terms of communication with the various vendors in our specific heating systems profession" explain the Remote services representatives of ELYO Ile de France (newly Engie solutions), who are implementing the project. The originality of this application lies in the implementation of WEBSERV, AREAL’s new WEB module, in addition to Netview access.
Using a browser, ELYO’s customers are provided access to their site: temperature monitoring (charts), graphic views (instant values, equipment condition,...), alarms and events logs, operating SUMMARIES.
WEBSERV’s secured interface enables restricting access to data made available to each user. "The ELYO group wishes to provide each and every customer with full and seamless traceability of their facility" state the project managers.
The ELYO operators in the various agencies are also provided access to WEBSERV through ELYO’s internal network (Intranet), or better still using NETVIEW client stations offering a facility operating interface identical to that of the main server. The next step will enable editing automatically the interventions required in the various sites through e-mail, from Topkapi to the maintenance agents.
Finally, thanks to its ability to integrate perfectly into multistation architectures, Topkapi meets all the requirements of supervision applications designed to provide informations and control to various types of users.
