OMRON

Communication TOPKAPI / OMRON controllers


OMRON PLCs ( CPM2C-S1, CPM2A, CPM2C, CJ1, CQM1H, C200H, CVM1 and former models) can be connected to other systems using:

A serial port : basic protocol SYSMACWAY. Possibility of using a "free" protocol such as for example Modbus slave (protocol provided free by OMRON).

Ethernet Port : protocol FINS, extending SYSMACWAY to a network addressing. 

 

TOPKAPI dialogues with OMRON controllers :

On a serial port: protocol SYSMACWAY developed by AREAL (remote dialogue via modem available: contact us for details). Other serial protocols available with Topkapi.

Using an OPC server : there are various OPC servers allowing the dialogue with OMRON PLCs, for instance the OPC server developed by OMRON (price: approximately 1 500 € ).
