SCADA software for SIEMENS PLCs
TOPKAPI communicates with SIEMENS PLCs using various communication devices (see protocols list) : OPC, Profibus, APPLICOM, Modbus, etc...
The most frequent communication systems used are the OPC SCOUT server, the APPLICOM cards (Profibus protocol), but other protocols like Modbus, Modbus IP, SINEC L1, 3964R or NITEL are also available.
AREAL is an independent software editor without any legal link to any hardware manufacturer. TOPKAPI has been designed to connect to any brand of hardware ( PLCs, building automation controllers, RTUs-Remote Terminal Units, telemetry systems, etc (see protocols list). TOPKAPI accepts all major standard protocols : OPC, LON, DDE, Modbus, Modbus IP, etc...Once installed, TOPKAPI will be liable to be connected to nearly any PLC or hardware ; the selection of a supplier will therefore remain open when the system will be extended or renewed.
