CIRSEE : Remote analysis. The CIRSEE (Centre International de Recherche sur l'Eau et l'Environnement, International Research Center on Water and the Environment) is the main research center of SUEZ LYONNAISE DES EAUX, the research fields of which comprise research and development on new water processes, and water analysis techniques. For remote monitoring of the processing pilot units and/or constant analysis systems, researchers installed in Le Pecq sur Seine (Paris region) must collect and analyze data in very geographically dispersed sites. In order to do this, they use tools in the following configuration:
The testing and analysis campaigns last between 6 and 12 months, and the implementation in each site must be easy and fast. TOPKAPI Vision and the PERAX stations were retained for these projects, because of their easy implementation and their perfect match with automatic remote data collection specifications:
Finally, we can remind that TOPKAPI Vision adapts perfectly to remote data collection and processing, thanks to its easy implementation, fast remote interconnection with remote management stations, data loggers or other TOPKAPI stations. The way it is used at the CIRSEE for pilot unit monitoring and in a constant analysis system can be applied to other fields: control of water processing river rejections, remote collection of hydrological data (river flow), meteorology, air quality, temperatures, etc. The power and flexibility of TOPKAPI Vision make it particularly well suited when, in fields so far apart, one would tend to think it is necessary to use several application-dedicated tools. |
