SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC / AREAL PARTNERSHIP

 

 

 

 

During the INITI@TIVES days organized by SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC from Sept. 22 to Oct. 11 in Paris, Nantes, Bordeaux, Saint Etienne and Strasbourg, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC and  AREAL announced they had signed an agreement to collaborate for the development of direct link between TOPKAPI and Unity Pro, the new SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC's  software workshop for LCs programming.

 

Development will be faster, and commissioning costs will be cut down by offering data unity and dynamic bidirectional link between TOPKAPI SCADA and UNITY PRO.

 

Showed during the INITI@TIVES days, the developments (version 3.7 of TOPKAPI) will be qualified as "Designed for Unity" by the end of November 2004.

 

The partnership is part of the SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC's Collaborative Automation Partner Program (CAPP) which aims to provide a better integration of automation components, and favour in each circumstance the use of best in class products.
